How to Create a Facebook Landing Page

Ok, so you have a Facebook page for your business or organization but it seems that nobody is clicking the “Like” button. Likes are a good thing, it affirms that people are interested in what you are offering. Getting people to click that like button is difficult because it’s not normal activity for people. When you visit a website, you are not asked to click anything unless you are interested in navigating to a different page. Only over the last several years has creating friendships required clicking a button. However, just like everything else in life, you have to ask for it. That is where a landing page comes in.

I am going to teach you how to create a landing page for your Facebook Business Page, how to install it and assign it as the first page someone will see when they come to your Facebook Page. I have also created a video that will walk you through the process.

Creating a Facebook Landing Page

Here is what you will need:

• A Facebook Page
• The code – https://gist.github.com/979697
• Static HTML – iFrame Tabs App – http://apps.facebook.com/static_html_plus/
• An image to place as your welcome message
• A account somewhere, such as Photobucket.Com to upload and host your file. Or, you can use the template file shown below.
