Mac Basics Class Give-a-way

Hi all! As many of you are aware, I am teaching a class this week on Mac Basics. I thought it would be fun to do a give-a-way.

I have three tickets to my class that I will be giving away. The class is April 7th, 2011 from 6-9pm. Read more about the class here. Below is what you will have to do to be entered to win. When the winners are decided, each of the following things listed below will have to have been done, so make sure you follow directions.

  1. This is kinda cool. I have a mac laptop, but i Defiantly do not know all the basics. It would be fun to learn more about my mac! I want to put my mac to it’s potential!

  2. Hello! I have been a mac lover now for just a year and a half. I have enjoyed every second using this simple yet powerful computer and have been self taught almost completely. Although I am pretty comfortable with my mac, I know there is SO much more that I can learn. I know that Jerad is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to computers and I would love to learn from him. I would love to learn some shortcuts that would make my daily processes that much easier (email, editing, navigating around, etc.) I know that this would allow more time with my sweet kiddos and a better relationship with this beloved computer! It would be an honor to sit under the teaching of Jerad Hill and therefore would very much enjoy this 3 hour workshop.

  4. I would love to get more knowledgeable and become a really great user of iPhoto, as well as just being more efficient woking with everything on my Mac, and learning anything new and cool for my iPhone would be great too! Posting to both Facebook and Twitter now :)!

  5. I want to learn everything about Macs! I have been a Mac user for a couple of years now, but I am sure I still have a lot to learn and could always benefit from more info! I also really want to learn to use iPhoto to its full potential and basically would love to learn everything! Going to repost on my Facebook and Twitter now, thanks so much!!

  6. Hi! I’m going to purchase my first iMac this upcoming month! I saw this posted on a friends FB page and thought it would be a wonderful way to start my journey on the new computer! An opportunity to learn everything about it so I can choose wisely the programs I need as well as which computer will be such a help to me.
    I have only used PCs and I think this class would really help show me what potential there is with a Mac.

  7. Hello! My name is Sarah Mara-Adams and I JUST bought my Macbook Pro about 3 hours ago. I am super excited to put it to some good use… however, there’s one LITTLE problem- i don’t really know how to use it! I KNOW you are “super awesome” Jerad Hill with all kinds of crazy knowledge so I thought you could share some of your smarts with me! Hopefully I will see you on Thursday!

  8. I recently put an apple sticker on my truck.. Maybe after taking this class I’ll know more about my iMac, iPad and iPhone so I won’t feel like such a Newbie 🙂 pick me!

  9. I’m a windows users since DOS and been hesitant to use my mac very much. Maybe I’ll pickup a few tip so I may use my Mac more.
