On The Road Again
Today starts our three-day-journey turned two-day-journey home. We have had tons of fun, but we are ready to be home and decided it would be best to cut a day off of our travels home and do six hours each day instead of four.
We Got Wet!
Our last day at Great Wolf Lodge was a lot of fun. I had some one-on-one time with Liam and we went on the big kid water slides.
Great Wolf Lodge
The grand finale of our trip is finally here. The Great Wolf Lodge has lived up to its name so far. My kids are having a good time and so are we!
Seattle Center
We spent our last day in Seattle playing and visiting with friends who live in Seattle. Seattle Center has a lot to offer. We visited the Seattle Children’s Museum, International Fountain and the new climbing structure/playground.
Someone Burned Their Popcorn
We are in Seattle! We arrived mid-afternoon and walked down to Pike Place Market. Though we got to bed at a decent hour, we were abruptly woken by someone who burned their popcorn.
Portland Children’s Museum
Today was fun, but very testing of our parenting abilities. Not sure if our kids are over-stimulated or their daily schedule has been disrupted too many times, but they have been kind of crazy today. The Portland Children’s Museum was fantastic. Tomorrow we leave Portland and head to Seattle.
Enchanted Forest
After leaving Salem, OR we spent the first part of the day at Enchanted Forest in Turner, OR. Enchanted Forest was amazing and our kids loved it. Silver Falls would have been amazing if we had the energy to go for a hike. We ended our day in Portland, OR at our hotel swimming and getting to bed at a decent hour.
Prehistoric Gardens
We drove a lot today. We left Klamath, CA and drove for 1.5 hours to Prehistoric Gardens in Port Orford, Oregon. Basically across the street we discovered Arizona Beach, which is a beautiful and clean beach with almost nobody there. We had the beach to ourselves. After leaving the beach came the 4.5 hour drive to Salem, Oregon.

Fern Canyon
We spent most of today driving. A 4.5 hour drive took about 6.5 hours due to potty breaks and stopping to stretch our legs. We started our day leaving Fort Bragg, CA. Our stops along the way were in Eureka, CA and at Confusion Hill. We hiked around Fern Canyon and then got to our hotel in Klamath, CA in time for a quick swim and some dinner before bed.

#HillFamilyRoadTrip2015 – Fort Bragg, CA
Day one of our #HillFamilyRoadTrip2015 is off to a strong start. A nice 4.5 hour drive from Modesto to Fort Bragg and we were playing in the sand and water. We are tired but excited for Day 2.
